Solaren Promotes Shannon Christopher to Traffic Control Operations Coordinator

Solaren is thrilled to announce the promotion of Shannon Christopher to lead our traffic department. Shannon is a veteran on the front lines with our company and worked her way up from the field into our administrative offices. Shannon still routinely goes out of her way to ensure jobs are done safely and correctly, even getting in the trenches herself with her team. Shannon joined the team in November 2020 and has excelled ever since.

Shannon either worked at or owned her own truck driving school for 15 years giving her ample skillset to excel in this new role.

Shannon was born in Columbia, South Carolina being raised by parents who moved all over the country due to business opportunities Shannon has found herself living in many different parts of America. She spent a majority of her young adulthood split between Paducah, Kentucky and Savannah, Georgia from there she finally found herself a home in middle Tennessee where she has lived since 2017 having been here once before.

Shannon is a huge Kentucky Wildcats fan, she is enjoys dancing and swimming and spending time with her friends and family. She was a cheerleader from the age of 5. Shannon jokes that her favorite new found hobby is working for Solaren, as she is one of the most dedicated members of our team.

Shannon is a proud mom to three children Savannah, Madison, and Seth and a granddaughter named Ryder who just turned 1.

“We are happy to see where Shannon leads our team, we believe with her at the wheel and our growing fleet inventory Solaren’s traffic control department will reach new heights that have not yet been achieved. ” – CEO, Jack Byrd III
