Solaren Implements New Safety Initiative

Recently, ICON Properties began using ID Check at their Johnny Cash Kitchen location. Two additional units have been purchased which will soon be placed in service at Nudies Honkey Tonk and Skulls Rainbow Room. This technology provides an enhanced layer of security to keep patrons and staff safe at all ICON venues.

Solaren Risk Management security staff will operate an ID Check unit at the entry point to each location. As patrons enter, the security officer will place the patrons ID in the scanner briefly. The scanner will alert staff to an expired ID, a patron who is under 21 and can also help identify a fraudulent ID. The unit also helps to maintain an accurate capacity count in real time. In addition, security officers and ICON staff can enter noteworthy information on a patron which will be available if that patron comes back to the establishment in the future. This information can include: VIP status, banned status, tendency for violent or fighting behavior, unpaid bar tabs, etc. All patrons will now have their ID scanned upon entry, regardless of their age.

Solaren Risk Management and ICON properties strive to maintain a safe, friendly environment for all patrons who enter their establishments.

This technology is yet another tool, to be used to enhance safety and ensure that all establishments are operating within state and local guidelines and in compliance with the law. – CEO, Jack Byrd III
