Solaren Tackles Re:SET and Pride in One Weekend!
Solaren Risk Management was excited to be a part of the three-day Re:SET Festival June 23rd through June 25th. Artists such as LCD Soundsystem, Toro y Moi, Steve Lacy and many more took the stage in front of a crowd of several thousand. Re:SET hosted a niche music genre that had no shortage of fans attending the shows. The event took place at Centennial Park in downtown Nashville and the weather was extremely hot. Supervisory personnel ensured that all staff stayed hydrated and had sunscreen due to the extreme temperatures. There were multiple medical emergencies due to the extreme heat. Thanks to effective communication with the medical team, we were able to remove patrons safely and quickly from the crowd and ensure they receive prompt emergency care. Solaren has a long history of working at outdoor music festivals, and it showed in our professionalism and communication skills.
Solaren provided over one hundred staff members each day to secure the event and provide a safe environment for the performers and attendees.
Our staff managed bag checks, 21+ ID checks, ticket scanning, barricade management, access control, backstage access, and VIP entry. Staff ensured there was no underage drinking, no illegal items brought into the venue and maintained a safe space throughout the footprint of the event.
Perhaps our most impressive accomplishment was the ability to manage multiple events over the course of the weekend. At Bicentennial Mall State Park, Nashville Pride was in full swing both Saturday and Sunday. There were also shows at Ascend Amphitheater which Solaren provides security staffing for. Thanks to careful management of resources, we were able to staff all three locations and ensure that all these notable events were safe and secure.
