Solaren Sponsors Annual Golf Event for Andrew Jackson FOP Youth Camp

We kicked off our Memorial Day weekend by giving back to our community and kids in need. Weather conditions started out dismal as heavy rain swept across Tennessee. However, everyone still kept in good spirits and played on through the rain only stopping once for a 30 minute delay. The annual event took place at Gaylord Links in Nashville, and provided the perfect setting for meeting with friends and business professionals all working together for the common goal of raising money for the Andrew Jackson FOP Youth Camp, one of the longest standing foundations in the nation.

Breakfast began at 7:00am and tee time at 8:00am. Solaren was happy to facilitate the welcome and greeting portion as well as helping all guests get checked in and prepared to take the course. As the tournament came to an end, the clouds and rain gave way to beautiful sunshine. Just in time for lunch courtesy of Mission BBQ. During the award ceremony, Solaren was honored to provide a check to the Andrew Jackson FOP Youth Camp for $25,000 and helped raise an additional $5,000. That money, along with all the others that were raised we know will go to a great cause for helping kids in this program that is well worth it to their growth and personal development.

We were happy to see many of our colleagues joining side by side with us to help support this cause including Nashville’s Chief of Police John Drake.
