Solaren Risk Management was Title Sponsor for the 2019 ASIS Middle Tennessee Charity Golf Tournament

Solaren Risk Management was Title Sponsor for the 2019 ASIS Middle Tennessee Charity Golf Tournament – Fund Raising Drive raising $20,000 benefitting the Andrew Jackson Lodge # 5 Youth Camp and $5,000 benefiting ASIS (American Society of Industrial Security) scholarships. Hosted at Gaylord Springs Golf Links on Friday the 17th, this was Solaren’s third year sponsoring.
Not only was Solaren a third-time sponsor, Jack Byrd, Managing Partner, equated it to scoring a “triple play”. “We’re helping the kids go to camp, we’re supporting the FOP (Fraternal Order of Police), and we’re continuing to support ASIS,” Byrd stated. Solaren employs over 200 law-enforcement professionals and strongly believes in giving back to their community.

Solaren Champions Giving Back

This is one of the reasons they’re members of ASIS, an organization providing training and certification of security personnel while supporting charities that directly benefit their community through scholarships, like the David S. Hawtin Memorial Scholarship. The FOP kid’s camp supports underprivileged children from the inner-city.

Solaren champions giving back. “We make a living by what we get, but we make a life by what we give” is a famous Churchill quote Byrd lives by. The success in reaching their fund-raising goal was attributed to Solaren’s clients, partners, and employees who came out and played showing their spirit of giving back as well. Among these were Kathleen Farris, Todd Edwards, Glenn McLea and John Sloan.
