Solaren CEO Speaks On New Legislation To Enhance School Safety

Here at Solaren, our hearts go out to the families who lost loved ones at the recent school shooting at Covenant School here in Nashville, TN. In response to this tragedy, Governor Bill Lee has proposed a bill that would place an armed security officer in every school in Tennessee.

As one of the state’s leading security providers, News 2 (WKRN) spoke with Solaren’s CEO Jack Byrd III to get his insight on the bill. Jack stressed the importance of having a properly trained, armed guard in each school to be the last resort when all preventative measures have failed.
