Solaren Focusing on Rebuilding Community After Major Storms Sweep Through Middle TN

Early Tuesday morning, many Middle Tennesseans were awaken from their sleep by the sound of tornado sirens and the startling Severe Weather Alert blaring from their phones. A widespread wave of major thunderstorms was moving through the area and news stations broadcasted warnings to take cover immediately.

Strong winds, hail, lightning and heavy rain covered the entire city, but as the sky turned dark, and acquired an ominous green glow, many Nashvillians knew the weather was about to take a turn for the worse. For more than an hour, a huge tornado tore through the middle of the state, ransacking everything in its path.

Members of our leadership team who had been closely monitoring the storm began checking on our personnel that were still working from Monday night’s shifts. Once we had verified that everyone was accounted for and safe, we started to tackle the aftermath of the storm. We began deploying traffic control throughout the city to assist the many utility & construction contractors that were already on the ground aiding in power line and debris clean up. Many calls came in for assistance at businesses needing additional security due to destroyed walls, gates, and fencing. Security officers as well as off-duty law enforcement were sent out to assist in these efforts.

During times like these, we here at Solaren feel very fortunate to be able to serve the community that we love, and offer assistance to those in need. We are blessed to have so many men and women on our staff that take pride in what they do, and rise to the challenges that our city is facing, and will continue to face in the coming weeks as Nashville recovers.

We are praying for everyone affected by this tragedy, and are focused on assisting our community as we start to rebuild. If we are able to help in any way, please give us a call 24 hours a day at 615-218-2842.

“Safety aware, because we care.”
