Solaren PR Team | June 29, 2022 | For Immediate Release

After being cancelled in 2020, and postponed in 2021, Nashville Pride returned to its traditional June weekend for 2022

As the weekend approached, and the excitement built, the Solaren Risk Management Team was there to ensure this premier LGBTQ annual event was successful.

Beginning with the parade on Saturday Morning at 10:00, the festival was off to a grand start.

Over 130 elements participated in the parade down Broadway which began at 8th Ave and ended at 2nd Ave. Various organizations and Metro Departments took place in the parade, demonstrating this city’s commitment to diversity and inclusion. The festivities then continued in Bicentennial Mall State Park for a two-day festival consisting of food, fellowship, vendors, drag shows and amazing concerts including a performance by the legendary Tanya Tucker.

Throughout the parade and festival, Solaren Risk Management provided security to ensure that everyone who visited the festival felt safe and secure.

When asked why this event was important to him, CEO Jack Byrd made the following statement:

“Diversity is one of our core values at Solaren Risk Management. I cannot think of a more important event in our current times than the Pride Festival. It is a reminder of the importance of inclusion, acceptance, and the need for those in the LGBTQ Community to feel safe and welcome. I am proud of our staff for representing our commitment to these values so well”. – CEO Jack Byrd
