Helping the Nashville Rescue Mission Stay Warm This Winter

Nashville Rescue Mission is a homeless shelter for men, women and children in the Nashville Area. Due to the record-breaking winter weather, Solaren decided to work with a major hotel we provide security services for downtown to donate lost and found clothing to the Mission. We believe in supporting our Nashville community through our services, commitment to the development of the city and charity to those in need as seen here.

The Nashville Rescue Mission was founded in 1954 with the desire to serve the homeless community in Nashville with food, clothing and shelter so that those individuals can have not only basic human necessities, but the opportunity to get back on their feet and strive for success. The Mission serves over 800 men, women and children every day to provide these necessities and, most importantly, hope. The Mission holds the core values of extravagant faith, radical hospitality, continuous improvement, excellence and a culture of honor.

Solaren’s core values include a commitment to professionalism in our actions and diversity in our ideas and means of supporting each other, and we express these values in our actions every day.

This donation is just one example of that commitment, and we plan to make it a regular one. Account Manager for the hotel, Cooper Jarvis, has an extraordinary commitment to his job and client, and came up with this idea as a result of his belief in going above and beyond in his work. In preparation for more winter weather to come, we loaded up an entire full-sized SUV with bags of clothes, shoes and hats and delivered them to the Mission located at 616 7th Avenue South where their team happily accepted our donation.

Charity is part of our culture here at Solaren and we do our best to help many organizations both local and national.

Winter is a difficult time for those who do not have access to safe and consistent food and shelter, so if you want to show your support, please head to the link below to see how you can help. Stay tuned for more of these stories about how Solaren helps lift up the Nashville community through our weekly news articles. Stay safe, stay warm and we’ll see you next week!
