National Night Out promoting police-community partnerships and neighborhood camaraderie

Once again, Solaren Risk Management partnered with the Nashville Fire Department, the Tennessee Highway Patrol, the Nashville Office of Emergency Management and the Metropolitan Nashville Police Department for this the 2022 National Night Out Against Crime. National Night Out is an annual community-building campaign that promotes police-community partnerships and neighborhood camaraderie.

Solaren Partners Once Again In The National Night Out

This was the first year that Opry Mills Mall hosted a National Night Out event and our Solaren Team was excited for the opportunity to volunteer their time. Solaren hosted a dunking booth, where children and adults alike took their turn dunking a security officer into the water. All proceeds from the dunking booth benefit the Andrew Jackson Police Youth Camp.

In addition to the fellowship, camaraderie and great food on hand, kids big and small enjoyed seeing the police patrol cars, SWAT vehicles, Tennessee Highway Patrol motorcycles, ambulances, fire trucks, and all of the other public safety equipment on display. However, the talk of the event may have been Rescue 2, the personnel carrier recently acquired by Solaren Risk Management. Look out for this vehicle in future displays, parades and anytime there is a need to move crucial personnel in an armored vehicle.
