Solaren was honored to attend the annual lunch and awards ceremony this past Wednesday, October 18th for the Nashville Downtown Partnership as a lead sponsor.

Their mission states that “The Nashville Downtown Partnership was created in 1994 as a private, nonprofit corporation dedicated to serving the businesses, employees, residents, and visitors of Music City’s urban core. Through our work and partnerships, we ensure downtown Nashville is the clean, safe, and vibrant place where you work, shop, live, and do business.” Solaren’s core values are professionalism, accountability, integrity and diversity, which are directly in line with those of the Partnership. We are proud to work with an organization that truly lives out these values and prioritizes not only the success of Nashville, but the safety of its inhabitants and visitors as well.

Nashville was the only city from a survey of 25 major cities in America that had a 100 percent recovery rate after the pandemic.

As of 2023, there are over 17,000 people living in downtown Nashville because of this recovery and it is projected that by 2033 there will be over 40,000 people living there. There is a planned $13 billion in project costs for the downtown area over the next 10 years that will drastically change Nashville for the better. Solaren is ready and willing to change with it as we are always up for a challenge and will never back down from our duty to protect our community.

We have NDP and the organizations involved in it to thank for this amazing progress the city has seen.

As for the awards, there were four categories of Live, Work, Play and Invest. Albion in the Gulch and Alcove both won the Live awards, Broadway Viaduct Replacement by TDOT won the Work award, Bridgestone Arena and the Nashville Sounds won the Play award and finally Northwood Retail LLC and The Hermitage Hotel won the Invest award. All these businesses have made great strides to push Nashville forward and develop the city into something bigger and better for those of us who live, work, play and invest in Nashville.

Thank you to all the award winners and fellow sponsors of the Partnership.

These companies have helped to improve the quality of life for all who experience and love Nashville, and we cannot wait to continue supporting this great city as it develops!
