August 6th, Solaren participated in the National Night Out Against Crime

This August 6 th , Solaren participated in the National Night Out Against Crime along with Metro Nashville Police Department, the Tennessee Highway Patrol and Nashville Metro Fire Department at Opry Mills Mall. National Night Out helps to build relationships between citizens and civil servants like the fire and police departments to foster a greater sense of community.

It is a great opportunity for everyone to gather in a positive manner to help and learn from each
other. The level of transparency this event creates in communities helps to boost trust and integrity while maintaining a level of fun. National Night Out is celebrated annually across all 50 states in the U.S. and has been a popular event for years.

We had a blast meeting everyone and helping those in need of school supplies.

We brought hundreds of pencils, erasers, markers and more to ensure that our local students can succeed in our schools. School supplies are crucial for the classroom and can be very expensive each new school year. We also wanted the community to have a little fun with our staff at the event, so we brought a dunk tank. One of our Field Operations Coordinators volunteered to be in the tank and all the kids had a blast making sure he stayed cool during the event!

The turnout and community engagement were amazing, and we look forward to this event every year.

We were proud to stand beside our Tennessee Highway Patrol, Nashville Police and Nashville Fire as we represent the supportive and capable community of safety and security. Solaren’s mission is to help our community, and that is what this event is all about. Thank you to Opry Mills Mall for hosting this event each year and facilitating this opportunity for community growth. We look forward to seeing you all next year and remember: we are safety aware, because we care!
