Solaren Rings In the New Year

One of the busiest nights in the event staff & security industry is New Year’s Eve, and here at Solaren we had been in preparation for Tuesday night’s events for weeks! All of the hard work and preparation was well worth it; With over 250 team members deployed all over the city of Nashville, including all of our administrative staff, we definitely had a busy night ensuring everybody out celebrating was safe, but had a blast while doing so. “When you get to be a part of pulling off an event scene as huge as Nashville on New Year’s Eve, it is definitely a rewarding experience,” says Bethany Gill.
Solaren Rises to the Challenge to Take on Nashville Event Security & Traffic Ringing in New The Year

In addition to our administrative staff, Solaren had all core divisions- event staff, armed and unarmed security, off duty law enforcement, and traffic control- in operation. Much of our staff spent their evening in the heart of downtown Nashville at The Wildhorse Saloon, Nudie’s Honky Tonk, The Renaissance Hotel, The Valentine, as well as various other venues to ensure the safety and security of all patrons. We also had a large number of law enforcement, traffic control, and security officers at Opryland Hotel to help with their annual New Year’s Eve Gala, which is one of our reoccurring events that we love providing services for every year.

Although we had many members of our team spread throughout different venues, our largest call of the night was at Bicentennial Mall for Nashville’s Jack Daniel’s Music City Midnight Celebration. This is Nashville’s yearly celebration featuring live music, fireworks, and the music note drop when the clock strikes midnight. Solaren event staff monitored access points and conducted regular perimeter checks.

2019 was a year full of growth and change at Solaren Risk Management and are looking forward to what 2020 has to bring with excitement. Here’s to a successful and Happy New Year from all of us here at Solaren! – Jack Byrd III – Chief Executive Officer
