Solaren Announces New Leadership and Organizational Restructuring

CEO Jack Byrd III has announced a restructuring of Solaren Risk Management that…“positions us for continued growth and expansion, while providing a clear chain of command. This structure holds our employees accountable and ensures that we deliver outstanding service and live up to our clients’ expectations.”

Bethany Gill, longtime Solaren employee, is the newly appointed Administrative Manager. Bethany will report directly to the CEO and oversee all administrative functions within the company. This includes Human Resources, Payroll, Customer Service, Fleet Operations, Equipment and Uniforms, Technology, Web Services and Marketing, and Facilities Management. When asked why he chose Bethany for this position, Jack responded, “Bethany’s intimate knowledge of the operations of our company and her proven track record of excellence made her an obvious choice for this position. I have every confidence that she will excel in this role.”

David Leavitt, former Metro Police Captain, is the newly appointed Operations Manager. He will report directly to the CEO and oversee all Unarmed Security, Armed Security, Off-Duty Police and Traffic Control Personnel. When asked why David was the right fit for this position, Jack responded, “with 20 years in law enforcement, including overseeing some of the largest events in the history of Nashville, running a secondary employment unit, and his knowledge of police and security operations, David has vital experience and expertise which are crucial to the continued success of our company”.

Solaren has also appointed an in-house Training Manager, Adam Bailey, who will administer training for both unarmed and armed security as well as on-going training companywide including Less Than Lethal Training, De-escalation Training, CPR, AED, First Aid, and other courses. Jack explained, “We want to provide the highest level of service and maintain the highest standards of training. We feel that the best way to do this is to train our own personnel to instruct these courses, so that we can offer this training in-house and ensure everyone maintains consistent and up to date training.”
